For the second year in a row, I am offering my only sale of the year! This sale is even better than last year’s because it includes a discount for every month of the year! But act fast because the sale ends at midnight, January 12th!
Here’s the scoop:

I would have to guess this was our 25th session together? For real. And she’s only 2 1/2 years old! That’s because I had the privilege of photographing little “E” every month in her first year of life and then four times a year thereafter. How did I ever get so lucky?!! I have loved each and every session but what is so cool is the relationship we’ve built because of it. I love the entire family (even Grandma comes along!). They are so special to me.
This particular session we visited an old farm house that’s been restored. I really wish I would have recorded the sweet giggles and energy “E” had on the session. Such pure happiness of running around the exploring the beautiful location. She just needed her freedom to run and that she did! Read more ›
From time to time I will try and catch up on this blog even though I know it will never be current by a long shot!
Here’s the sweet Anderson crew. I met Mandy when our oldest sons were in Transitional Preschool together. Then she taught my son Caleb’s Mom’s Day out class. It was so fun and crazy to see how much the boys have grown! Here are some of my favorites from their Mini Session I held this summer. Read more ›
One of the best things about my job is getting to work with families year after year. You start to build a strong connection with one another and I’m a believer that a good connection with your subject just brings out the BEST in photos. So much that when Kerrie told her son that she accidentally scheduled the photo session on his birthday he was thrilled (hence the balloons and cupcakes)!
The Peck family is one of my very favorites because they show up as themselves and have FUN! They all dress in fun colors and try to stay true to their personality. Read more ›
I am so honored and excited to be published in Mozi Magazine’s June FAMILY/CHILD issue. It truly is one of my favorite photography magazines because it’s packed with tons of inspiration and education. I also wrote an article on how to get families to have FUN on sessions.
Every year this family makes the hike from Ft. Wayne for a family session. Then mom and Maggie make a special trip back in the month of January to for Maggie’s own session marking a new year. In past years, the session has taken place in my home, the laundromat and a cupcake shop. This year we wanted to do something new but also include cupcakes because it is her birthday. Our initial plan didn’t work out so we ended up going someplace I’d never been…. Confectioneiress Cupcakes & Sweets in Zionsville. Honestly, I had never even heard of this bakery but man am I glad I found them on Google! I brought several cupcakes home for my kids and they loved them. My daughter even said her tiramisu cupcake was the best cupcake she had ever eaten. Yes, I’ll be back because I see all their amazing creations on their Facebook page and it blows my mind! I am so blessed to have worked with this family since the birth of their first child. Mom and Dad are so sweet and Brady is such a great big brother who continues to keep us on our toes at all times. He is so bright, curious, funny and FAST! I remember chasing him around at Forest Park one fall day and probably burned off 500 calories on our session. I am not sure little sister Mia will be quite as fast but she has picked up a few traits from him…. chubby baby rolls that quickly wear off and a passion for firetrucks/firefighting. Read more ›
It just dawned on me that I never blogged the beautiful Britton family. We met through our boys at school in the car pool line a couple of years ago. Loved that I was able to photograph them the past two years. They truly are beautiful inside and out.
These first two shots are from fall of 2012. Read more ›
It had been too long since I photographed the Hoard family. Last time, it was just the kids and Michelle since Aaron had to work. On a whim (literally) we were able to execute this session, taking advantage of having Aaron home for once! Not many people can plan a session the night before and pull it off but they sure DID!
