It’s been a joy to photograph this beautiful family for several years in a row. They are so kind and fun and very attractive to say the least. Two of their photos were published in “Photographing Children, A Photo-Workshop” by Ginny Felch.

Having not seen this barn before our session, Holly couldn’t have picked out better clothes for the session. They just pop against the gray background. We totally lucked out with cloudy skies giving us a dramatic overcast…. which I happen to love. Since this barn faces the south/west it can be too bright to shoot from the front at 5pm.

I like to tell the kids that these are the kind of phones us parents used growing up. They believe me everytime!

Also, do you see the car inside the old barn? There happened to be another photographer inside taking photos of an old car for various automobile magazines. He travels around the world doing these…. how cool!

Gracie has the cutest chubby cheeks ever. I love everything about her. Don’t mess with her though…. because I think her big brothers have trained her up tough (especially that Eli). Her looks may be deceiving.

Griffin is a very sweet little boy…. always compliant and attentive when I’m around 🙂

Eli is below. He is definitely a feisty and ornery little guy. But I always say that God makes those type of kids “drop dead gorgeous” for good reason. Watch out moms of four year old daughters. He’s going to be a heart breaker!
