I have people tell me all the time that they wish they would have known about me when their child was younger…. because if so they would have had me photograph him or her. I often wonder “what the heck is wrong with photographing your child right now?”! This next session is just an example. “H” is 10 years old, in the fifth grade. Her mom was ecstatic to have this age documented as she was determined to remember the very brink of her childhood. They made the trek to the river walk from Ft. Wayne. I loved that “H” brought along her American Girl Doll… something that she was not too embarrassed to still hold true to her heart. Because deep inside she is a little girl who still loves to laugh, cuddle, jump and dance…. even if she is also on the brink facing a road full of deep realities.
