I’m asked all the time where my favorite place is to take family photos. The answer has remained the same from the very beginning of my career…. home. If you’ve never had a session at your home, please consider it. Your kids already have so many favorite places and we can turn their memories into art. Is there a neighborhood fort or woods they like to play in? A creek nearby? A park they like visit? It’s certainly worth considering
Here’s a session from spring of 2016 that I ABSOLUTELY loved. The grandparents were able to join in and everything took place at their home and nearby property. The boys were perfectly themselves and we all had a ball!
Their mom Denese is an amazing floral designer. You can visit her website HERE.
The first part of the year is my slow season which allows me the time to revamp my business. One of the projects I’m working on is adding a new website…. a senior site. Over the past 11 years, I’ve photographed many high school seniors. Although it wasn’t my focus, I’ve come to realize that my clients are growing up and it’s time to capture them before they leave for college.
My senior sessions are $600 (with a $200 deposit due at booking) and that includes my time, multiple outfits changes, the edited digital files via digital download and USB, print release and (40) 5x7” prints of choice. A travel fee will be included for those outside of the Indianapolis area (30 miles from Westfield).
Here’s beautiful Emma from last fall!
The very first time I photographed this family was at this same park!
We started splitting up this family’s photo sessions. Two kids in the winter and two in the spring. These boys were in HEAVEN as you can see! Read more ›
This was our third session together…. and possibly our last! Found out right after our session that they were moving out of state. What a beautiful family and definitely wish them the very best in life. Thankful to have captured some of their last Indiana memories. Read more ›
I’m convinced that these are some of the most likable people on the planet! Clearly, I had a very difficult time narrowing down my favorites. Read more ›
This family shares the same school system as my own however this was the first time had we met. I adored working with them so much. I loved their special connection to one another and unique personalities as you can see in the photos. As a mom of three boys myself, I appreciate the playfulness that boys bring to a family. Most of the time it’s meant for fun and that’s exactly what we had the entire session. And those doggies were icing on the cake! Read more ›
I see no reason to stop having your family photographed once your kids are older. Teenagers are so much fun to work with! They are full of personality and have such connection to one another. I’m so happy when my clients still come back to me when the kids reach the teenage phase. It’s certainly a time of life worth documenting… even if you want to punch them in the face from time to time Read more ›
Our third session together and they never disappoint…. even if we are using up the very last bits of sunlight What a genuinely beautiful family they are! Read more ›
I’ve been photographing this bunch for many years. I always look forward to seeing them again at their annual session. Not only how much they’ve grown but how stinking cute they are!!!

Turning 13 is definitely worthy of documenting. I’m not sure as parents we’re ever ready to leave the tween years! Maybe that’s why we quit taking as many photos once they enter this phase.
Last year I photographed these beautiful and kind twin sisters in a field connected to our subdivision. We certainly captured more than just than outer beauty! For as much as they have in common, they are just as much different. Read more ›
